The Daniel B. Vance Gallery
The Daniel B. Vance Gallery honors the life and legacy of Dan Vance who sadly passed away in 2019. Dan was a passionate advocate and supporter of the arts in the Hilliard community. He utilized his talents as a musician and an actor in many of our programs and served at the Treasurer of the Arts Council for over 40 years. We miss him very much but are pleased to have this space serve as a testament to his memory.
Public Art
Working with the Hilliard Public Arts Commission, the building is now one of several locations for the emerging public art program in Hilliard!
“Coloring The Path To Our Future,” was unveiled on May 3, 2020. The mural was created by artist Mandi Caskey, and teacher Amanda Schaeffer and her Art and Ecology students from Hilliard City Schools Innovative Learning Center. The mural was made possible through the generous support of the Ohio Arts Council grant to engage students in art beyond their classroom.
Additionally, “Gratitude”, a mural from Columbus-based artist Jeremy Jarvis of Jarvis Art Studio is displayed on the south wall of the building was completed on December 31, 2021. The work celebrates and promotes the value of public art for our residents and visitors.
