A holiday tradition for over 25 years, the Hilliard Arts Council is producing its annual performances of A Christmas Carol in December. Adapted from the beloved classic story by Charles Dickens, this multi-generational production is the Hilliard Art Council’s annual charity event with all proceeds going to Hilliard Food Pantry and Firefighters for Kids. Enjoyed by people of all ages, A Christmas Carol is a true family event – with a 1 hour runtime, it’s a great theatrical experience even for young children.
The production will be staged in Old Hilliard on the Ken and Robin Brenneman Stage at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center, 5425 Center Street, Hilliard, OH 43026. Performance dates and times are as follows:
- Friday, December 9 at 7:00pm
- Saturday, December 10 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm
- Sunday, December 11 at 3:00pm
Instead of purchasing a ticket, audience members are asked instead to donate one or more of the following at the door:
- a minimum $5 monetary donation
- 5 or more non perishable food items
- 1 or more unwrapped toys
When attending the show you may also enjoy the work of local artist Paul J Sneider, currently on display at the Daniel B. Vance Gallery (also at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center).
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic in Franklin County, we recommend the same protocol as county public health officials: masks on all visitors and participants are strongly recommended; vaccination is strongly recommended. While not a requirement, we are trying to do our part to help limit community spread. We will continue to comply with any local, county, or state requirements should these recommendations change.
