Enjoy an evening with Glenn Stout

Come spend an evening with author, Glenn Stout, at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center, Thursday March 23, 2017 at 7pm. Glenn is a Hilliard native and has gone on to achieve great success as an author and editor. Glenn will share stories of his life and career as a writer. Glenn has written, ghosted or edited over 90 books, consulted on a variety of editorial projects with hundreds of writers, and is a respected editor and workshop teacher of narrative journalism and writing consultant. His book include last year’s The Selling of the Babe: The Deal That Changed Baseball and Created a Legend, Yankees Century (Book Magazine’s one of the five Best Sports Books of 2002), and Ted Williams: A Portrait in Words and Pictures (A New York Times Notable Book). A feature film based on his book Young Woman and the Sea: How Trudy Ederle Conquered the English Channel and Inspired the World, is currently under development at Paramount Studios. Glenn also writes a monthly column for Boston Baseball, served as Baseball analyst for WBUR-FM and has published in publications such as The New York Observer, ESPN.com, The Sporing News, Sports Illustrated, as well as numerous television...
